Trying to write in my journal but the wind is gusty.

I learn a lot from my daily self portraits. But it is disturbing watching myself gain weight and age. Many times I'm cringing. I need more practice at unconditional love.

I can't believe I don't know this woman's name yet. She helped me to pass the authorization test for thrown weapons in the SCA. This shot shows her using a take-down recurve bow, wooden arrows and a hip quiver. This was taken at an archery event in Los Angeles, CA on Feb. 12, 2011.
