I do my best to take a few photos at every SCA event because they become a blur in my mind if I don't. I've been in the SCA on and off since 1977. I wish I had photos from those early days, but that was before digital cameras and even if I took photos I didn't have the money to develop them. Thank goodness digital innovations made photography available to the masses.

Lady Archer





I can't believe I don't know this woman's name yet. She helped me to pass the authorization test for thrown weapons in the SCA. This shot shows her using a take-down recurve bow, wooden arrows and a hip quiver. This was taken at an archery event in Los Angeles, CA on Feb. 12, 2011.
